Central Community College Small Business Institute
Central Community College's Hastings Campus is home to the Small Business Institute (SBI). The SBI is a one stop shop for individuals and companies looking for technical or financial assistance in starting or growing their business. The Small Business Institute provides business counseling services, entrepreneurship training, and financial assistance to small businesses.
Additionally, the SBI offers a small business incubator - up to 5,000 square feet to start or grow your small business. The Incubator is one of the services provided by the Small Business Institute, located on the campus of Central Community College, Hastings. The main purpose of the Incubator is to provide space for new small business start-ups and/or for small business owners that wish to grow and expand. In addition, occupancy in the Incubator should ultimately lead to the creation of new jobs.

Big Idea Hastings - Encouraging new ideas and businesses
Big Idea Hastings started in 2015 and was a huge success. BIH is back and we are currently accepting idea submissions. Go to bigideahastings.com to submit your idea. The Top 8 Finalists will be competing to win $1,000 on Tuesday, November 7th. All are invited to attend this event. The social begins at 5:30pm at The Lark in Downtown Hastings and the Idea Pitches begin at 6:30pm.
